Design
The LCD display is one of the latest models with a monochrome screen (just black and white). However, in case your eyes need some vivid colors, you can simply stare at the pink case. The case is build of metal and feels pretty solid. This pink MP3 player is probably not the lightest model you have seen, but lightweight doesn't always mean good. Sometimes it just means flimsy.
Headphones
The headphones that come along with this pink MP3 player, however, are not the highest quality. They are actually the only thing of the whole set that it's not pink, so there's no wonder ladies will throw them away. The sound is muffled, with no highs and lows. This means you will have to purchase another set of headphones, but that's no big deal, as most shoppers already know you can't rely on the included earphones. Those who don't probably can't tell the difference anyway, so they might just stick to the standard ones.
Battery life
Apple has had some problems before with battery life and even a lawsuit settled in favor of customers. With the recent models of iPods, they have corrected this problem. The pink MP3 player from Apple has an internal Li-Ion battery. Charging and discharging it completely is a good practice to ensure you can listen to your iPod non-stop for 12-16 hours, as mentioned in the user manual.
Control buttons
Probably the biggest innovation with Apple iPods is getting rid of bloat-ware, which applies to the controls as well. This pink MP3 player has just one circle. If you move your finger around this circle, you can adjust various settings, such as menu navigation or volume. The scroll circle is practical and effective and it is specific to Apple players.
Sound quality
Despite the pink color, this iPod is quite powerful, with a lot of advanced features and high quality sound. Once you get rid of the included ear-buds and plug in some good headphones, you can hear the highs and lows clearly. Although it doesn't sound as good as other MP3 players, such as Creative Zen Sleek, it is enough to respond to most users' requirements. You can listen to any type of music and it will sound well.
This pink MP3 player from Apple also has some included iTunes. If you try to compare your own MP3 music files with the way these default iTunes sound, you will notice no significant difference. All the different compression settings are supported and sound as well as on the computer. The sound is much more than you would normally expect from a pink MP3 player, which looks rather like a fashion accessory than an audio device.
