It has up to 14 hours of battery time and 512 MB of storage. This is a good one for workouts, including jogging and running as it weighs in at slightly over one ounce. It even has a small display so you can see what’s playing. You also have the option to wear it on your arm or around your neck.
Although Dell used to make the hard drive MP3 players, they have recently discontinued those and will continue to make the flash drive DJ Ditty. The DJ, priced at an economical $99 sells better than the hard drive models that hold thousands and thousands of songs. It may be little, but it’s loaded!
There’s a few optional accessories offered for this Dell MP3 player.
USB caps in several colors which secure to a neck strap so you can wear your DJ around your neck if you choose. Even if you don’t wish to do that, it is a good idea to protect the USB connector on the Ditty. You can also get the Silicone protector kits, which are meant to protect the screen and have a color coordinated lanyard or neck strap. Neon colors are in orange or lime green or you can scale it down in a Glo white model.
Unlike many other MP3 players, the user manual for the Dell DJ Ditty can be accessed online making it easily accessible to look up anything you want to know about your DJ. This Dell MP3 player is also compatible with audible.com where you can download audio books, magazines, newspapers and radio programs. The neat thing about this is the technology has a built in bookmark. When you stop listening to your audio book, the next time you start it; it will begin right where you left off.
Dell has a user friendly website where you can find out everything you need to know about the DJ Ditty and other Dell products. It has a user forum dedicated to the DJ Ditty where you can ask questions and network with other DJ users. It looks like Dell has given us a good one here. For this Dell MP3 player $99 is more than worth it. Plus, it has cool accessories.
